The story behind the 35 DX

Mon Nov 30, 2009, 4:43 PM
On Sunday, I went with a friend to NYC to get some X-mas gifts for her family. After having a rather short conversation about her D70s, we decided to go to B&H. I was planning on buying that lens anyway at some point, and I figure that her suggestion just expedited the process. Oh well, I took a shot of it around a half-hour ago. [link] From what I can see so far, it really is the sharpest (stopped down) out of my other 3 lenses.

Also, talking about Nikon for a second, somehow my d60 has reached 47,918 cycles since May 7th 2008 without self-imploding. (EXIF checked with this program:[link] the one that says total # of shots) I'll keep using it until it does, but sooner or later, I'll have to move on, and let me tell you, it won't be to a D5000
